What’s best after graduation?

Am about to head out for one of my post C25K runs. Is it best to continue to try to run for 30 minutes or to try to run for 5K, which takes me longer?

I’m certainly not ready to start working up to longer runs yet but not sure which way is best to consolidate my achievement and keep my new found love of running.

I stopped running to time after I graduated.

For one thing the rest of the running community measures everything in distances. When I told people I was running for 30mins the first thing they asked was, 'Okay, how far is that?'

Secondly, I don't like running down a clock TBH. Its okay for starting out but soon gets annoying. I would rather have the challenge of a distance and time my run.

astly, organisedraces are (mostly) measured in distances. There are such things a timed runs but these are few.

Mines will be a very slow build up to 10K. Years most likely!

Enjoy your running.
