So who has recently tried the first 20 minute run then? I messed mine up! Ran up a long hill at the start. First time I have ever stopped. Really done myself in! Stupid girl. So then ran for 15 mins on flat ground and added an extra three mins at the end. So almost 20 mins running. Taking the hill out it wasn't too bad. Manageable. But I am know knackered and sweating so so so so much! Wow!!!!

I have hills every route from my house so can sympathise- I use the hills for my warm up/cool down walk then start to run - I’m working on the thought that I’d rather get the full run under my belt and complete the programme- 1 week to go- then I’ll add the hills in🏃🏼‍♀️

I planned my route thinking there were less hills but that backfired. I'm in Scotland on holiday. Not easy when it comes to avoiding hills. Going to try again on Thursday night or Friday night. Unfortunately no childcare until then!! Hills are definitely to be avoided at this early stage.

Hey what about us folks who actually live in Scotland..? 😄 I did my first 20 min run this morning & my route goes up a long steep hill. I just sloooowed down & gritted my teeth knowing that coming back would be easier. And it was!! Good luck with your next one 😊
