Day 1 - 0-5k

Well wow. Definitely a learning curve ! Remember to change coach. Michael Johnson was a tad ambitious lol 😂.

I found out a lot. 1. I am so unfit 2. Wear clothes that don’t fall down 3. Do not wear a sweat shirt 😂 swap it for a sweatband!!! 🏃‍♀️. 4. 60 seconds feels like 2 minutes! 5. carrying oxygen would definitely be an advantage 6. A water bottle is hard to open when brisk walking. But hey! I DID it and if i can, anyone can !!! 🏃‍♀️😆.

I am now in the recovery position trying to stop my hands shaking while i try and open a banana ( Michael’s suggestion before downing 500ml of water 💦) lol 😂

It can only get better !

Well done for starting 🤩. I can tell you it does get easier but only once your body gets used to the whole running motion. So may feel like it gets worse before it gets better! But stick with it, trust it, it works. I can also tell you all the coaches say the same thing 😆
