Hi my name is Tracey and I am 52, married with 3 grown up children and 2 gorgeous grandsons. I have always hated exercise of any kind especially running!

But in the last 3 years I have managed to lose 3 stone, some with slimming world and now I am with weight watchers. But today I decided to start couch to 5k, which I might add I quite actually enjoyed it 😁

I lived in Egypt for 7 years where my daughter and Grandsons still live, I have decided I want to be a fit and active grandmother not a short and fat one lol

You made me giggle Soanesie!! Congrats on your incredible weight lose journey. Glad you enjoyed your first? & for many, hardest run 👍🏻 Lots of support & valuable advice on this forum. Best advice l was given was to slow down to a snails pace, slow & steady. Happy running & enjoy your journey 👍🏻

Welcome, you've come to the right place!

Running won't actually make you taller I'm afraid. But you will feel 10 feet tall as you knock off one achievement after another with this fantastic programme.

Good luck and happy running.

I don’t think this will help with your height 😂

Well done losing 3 stone. As for actually enjoying week one? You’re kidding me right... it nearly killed me and I just wanted to quit... and I used to be a runner! Great job today... if you loved W1R1 you’re gonna love W9R3... we shall cheer you on all the way.

Well, done for getting started! I finished the C25K on Sunday and it has worked brilliantly at motivating me and being 54 and a bit overweight I needed motivation. One thing that helped was feeling it was ok to repeat a week when I needed to (I needed to do week 5 3 times). I have lost just over a stone in weight along the way.

You've just got to get out there 3 times a week and keep going. You will feel great when you graduate. I hope you have got an encouragement team around you. My family got sick of the texts demanding congratulations!
