Well it's half term and I've been struggling to fit in my runs so today I convinced my super sporty kids to come and run with me. Part of the reason I started this was to keep up with my sport mad kids. They were eager to see me puff and pant round the park and as we set off one of them laughed at the snails pace I set but come the second 10 minutes I had the last laugh as they both gave up and I crossed the finish line alone and with a bit more respect for what I'm achieving from the kids! Oh it felt good! πŸ˜˜πŸƒπŸŒβ€πŸŽ‰πŸƒ

Slow and steady wins the race.

Kids have to learn what you have learned, to pace yourself, the kids went too fast at the start thinking that you could not keep up, you were a little behind them for the first part but of course, you had the last laugh by overtaking them when they were knackered, well done.

Well done, I bet that made you realise how far you've come. My son came out with me my first few runs but I've been heading out before he's up through the week. I'm heading onto W6 tomorrow and because it's Saturday, he's asked if he can out with me. Will be interesting to see if he notices a difference in my fitness.
