Only gone and booked myself a fun run in JuneπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Nothing serious, but hopefully will be fun, my running buddies for the day will be two of the grandkids 9 & 4 ... what could possibly go wrong πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Just happy to be fit and able to do this with them πŸ’Ÿ

Excellent, and well done - good to have something to aim for, and look forward to, isn’t it! :)

Quite excited, you get to paint your face with glitter 🀑 and the last part is an inflatable obstacle course

Yes, exactly! Well done. It’ll be fun. Plus you’ll be running for a worthwhile cause πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Brilliant. Running with kids is the best. Mine would recommend swimming arms, flossing and the "chicken wings" warm up.

I also do a pretty good dab, but I don't have the coordination for flossing, trust me I've tried πŸ˜‚

Great news. This programme is a real life changer, isn't it?

It really is, it's the change in outlook to a 'can do' that's been the biggest change for me.

I wish you the best of luck for your fun run, but can a 4-year-old run a 5k?, does seem a bit young, I was a spectator at a 5k event run last year and yes there were several 9-year-olds running, but I did not see any 4-year-olds.

I guess we're going to find out. She's watched the video and was keen to come along, we regularly walk 4/5 miles together to feed the ducks, so I know she can walk it ... sure the excitment and inflatables will be enough for her ... if not she'll be a heavy piggy back 😰
