Run today felt good but ankles and hips feel achey. I’ve just seen next run is 20 mins all in one go....scary

You’ll smash that 20 min run just like you did this one. The program has been building you up, preparing you for whatever comes next... it’s sneaky like that. 😉 and don’t be afraid to take an extra rest day between runs if you feel you ankles would benefit from it. I’ve twanged something in my left butt cheek, so I’m taking a couple extra days off before my graduation run 🙂

Thr key really is speed, or nore preciseky a lack of it, lije you I combine treadmill and outdoor running, I found that taking 10%off my speed enabked me to continue for at least 50% longer, much easier to control pace on the treadmill but there are ways and means if doing so outside too, I am sure you will be fine, liik forward to reading further 'Smashed it " updates

You can do it. I was scared to attempt this run but another member on this site gave me some good advice and it got me through.

Change your mind set and look at it a different way.

Today you jogged 8 mins walked 5 mins jogged 8 mins. Thats a total of 21minutes constant exercise/ pacing yourself. The next one you do is only 20 minutes therefore 1 minute less.

You can do it, slow down when you need too maybe when you get to 10mins then pick it up again when you feel ready but keep on going.
