Hi all. Just done run2 of week one! I just canβt believe Iβm actually getting off my fat arse and wanting to do this..... and actually enjoying it! ππ»ββοΈ
I am still scared of whats to come in the following weeks ahead .... will I ...can I actually get to the end ? Who know but Iβm going to give it all Iβve got. I kinda feel proud of myself too π I have never ever done any sort of exercise and made it part of my life, I guess itβs never too late is it?
Hope everyone is having a great day, sun is shining here today and so am I! π

Oh well done Shazza!! πππ. You should feel proud. Its the most wonderful feeling to complete a run isnβt it?! Itβs a fab programme and a brilliant forum with all the support you will need. Well done π
Slow and steady is all you need to do to get you to graduation. Get there safely and you can then lay plans for whatβs to come. We can help you with that π
Yep, itβs great to get off the sofa and doing something with that bod. Other than stuffing crisps into it π. I had an arse the size of Wales. Not now. I literally ran it off. You can too πππͺ
It feels great to have down that first thing this morning instead of going for a McDonaldβs bloody breakfast π₯
I am following slimming world too. Not going to a class I think itβs too much with doing This as well, so my partner is weighing with me on Thursday mornings. I started last week! He is a marathon runner and is supporting me all the way. Without any pressure. I want to loose 4 stone. π€¦π»ββοΈπ«
Itβs one day ... step at a time isnβt it ?
Thanks again for the message. Have a gorgeous day π
I do WW. Been maintaining for nearly 8 years. I weigh in and stay to class. I love it! Itβs a lovely group, and without a young lass there setting me off with C25k podcasts, Iβd maybe still be a lard arse βΊοΈ She got me going with it. Iβd never heard of it. I canβt ruddy stop running now, and I started racing in my late fifties. It is such a Blast I canβt tell you ππββοΈπ
Since then several other members have started running, and one lass is racing now so we take our medal to class π π
I lost 65 lbs. good riddance π. If your husband is a marathon runner erm donβt run with him. Go at your own pace with the app πββοΈ In the future when youβre all graduated you can let him jog with you, your pace, not his. Just think, in future, you can marathon together πββοΈπββοΈπ πͺπ
Donβt βkindaβ feel proud. Feel very, very proud. Well done!
The weeks to come get harder. Thatβs the point of them. If you stay determined and slow down when you need to you will continue to smash them.
Respect them, be a little anxious in anticipating them, but donβt fear them - I made that mistake all the way through. You will be ready for each week when you reach it.
I've just started week 6 and I sound so like you when I started, not an exercise type of person let alone running....for fun π If I can do it (so far) then trust me so can you. My advice would be to leave your ego at home, so what if you don't complete a run, you will one day if you keep pushing on. I've failed miserably on a few runs but just tried again. Also go slooooowly like so slow u feel like you would be aswell to walk lol! Well done n keep going x
Edited to add, I started this program over a year ago but gave up as my weight loss (weight watchers) slowed right down and I could only put it down to this. I have since lost over 5 stone and it's actually boosting my losses now and I don't have alot to go now. Try not to be powered purely by weight loss as this is what stopped me continuing the c25k. Sorry for the long post lol!
Well great, you had a good day. That is wonderful. But remember you will have bad ones too. Come and share those here too. The key to this is to keep going, next step, next run, next day, next week. We are all in it together.
