Wow, well the talkative mind got a proper kick up the butt this morning. I was stiff, I was tired (probably still am too! 🤣) and somehow I’d told myself this is going to be a tough one, but I got myself out there and I did it! Now I’m armed with knowing it’s doable and I was actually very comfortable indeed at my snails pace (Oldfloss ❤️).
I have to say I’m glad I chose to go earlier. It was very warm out there. Later might have been a lot more difficult. That’s the great thing about running, you always choose where and when!! Fabulous!! 😁😁
Now for a bit of stretching. That’s something I didn’t think about and have neglected 😳. There again it’s not as if I was a runner before now! 😂

Thank you so much!! Yes, attempted a couple of yoga type poses! (Do note I said attempted! Not sure anyone who does yoga would agree, but it felt good to hold a stretch for a bit) 🤣
I’m all stretched out now! I think I need more water! Still slightly achy! What’s that about? 🤔❤️
Did the standard after work out stuff from the gym! Leg stretches, heel up to bum, hard to describe without sounding like Ms Elastic (which I’m definitely not 😆). 2 mins max, then tried some Yoga poses until I felt a little ease in the areas that were feeling tight Jay! That went ok.
I’m sure it’s probably more to do with feeling tired though. ❤️
Well done Yes I didn't do much stretching early on, but definitely felt better once I started doing more after my runs. Getting 'rollers' also helped- I've got one with five spiky balls on that looks like a crazy rolling pin, and my partner got one of the ones you lie on and roll about on top of. They really help to massage the muscles and stop them aching so much the next day.
