Just back from W5/R1 and boy am I happy ๐. I know the runs intensify during this week but I did so enjoy my run today - and it was raining and I didnโt care!
Iโd created a new playlist, a huge departure from my usual mix of Ibiza club classics/Indie stuff and listened to some mega rock classics like Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, INXS to name a few.. sounds cheesy I know but it really got me going and made me smile.
When I started this challenge I wanted to get that โfeelingโ runners say they get... that sort of euphoria, endorphin rush; I never thought it would happen as I was SO unfit but today, I can honestly say I did feel great ๐. Just felt so achievable - even in the rain.
Now I know the next run in this sequence jumps up a notch so not counting my chickens just yet but ooh I did love my run today ๐๐๐ป๐๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ.
How did you all get on with yours? X

Just wanted to say, if you want to find music to match your speed, go to jog.fm there you can look for music you like at your own running speed and then you can download those songs on Spotify and make a playlist, it's great!
Spotify also has a few ready made ones already too.
Oh wow, what a great idea, thanks for the tip! I shall do that ๐. I got the classic rock tunes from someoneโs running playlist on Spotify.. shameless plagiarism!!
Yes I remember that.. it must be the progressive training that we get to that level and we are fit for it.. itโs R2 Iโm a little trepidatious about ๐ฌ. Trying to maintain a positive mental attitude!
