Completed my W2R3 run today. Was difficult embracing the inner snail 🐌! I took a different route that was a bit higgedly piggledy. Started running on main road, but found the on coming traffic distracting, so crossed over so my back was to the traffic. Then having reaching some dead ends, carried on running through some not so breathtaking views. I’m not selling this am I? Lol 😆
I wanted to get that feeling of flow, but it didn’t really happen today. I wanted to run faster, but I kept in mind I have a loooong way to go! And yes, I’ve only gone and done it!! I’ve completed W2R3.....Hello?? Is that me?? 🌈😁😁😁

Yes that's you!! A third of the way through already hon. I hate running alongside traffic too. Find yourself a nice route for W4 and warn it ahead of time that you're going to smash it.
And do not [repeat ad nauseam] worry about pace. Remember: do NOT think about pace. Or pace. Or speed/pace.
I’m on W3 next, but yes, the warning is out! I really can’t say it’s been boring. I learn something during every run. I did find another nice little park today, but there’s too much grass and not enough path. I won’t take that route again, but it’s still a discovery.
I definitely don’t want to upset the snail! We’re forming a great friendship! Lol 😆
Hi Sallenson, Stephen, from last Saturday for some reason or another I literally get hundreds of 'healthunlocked' emails from people every day, before last Saturday it was only 1 or 2, not sure why this happened, so I just scroll through all of them, I came across your reply to 'Fabulous450' so I'll just tell you that tomorrow Saturday 2nd June will be my second 25 minute run of week 7, actually it will be my third 25 minute run as the third day of week 6 also was a 25 minute non-stop run, I just hope you are getting on well and that snail you are always on about is accompaning you on every run.
Hello, yes that's you You're building up your running legs and letting your mind and body get used to this. It's such a great feeling getting back and feeling you wanted to go for longer or faster - rather than thinking 'oh my god, I want to die, why on earth did I do that? I don't ever want to do it again', which was what happened every time I tried running before doing C25K... Enjoy week 3 - you'll find yourself more inclined to embrace the snail as the running parts get longer
Good point Eiralas! Thinking about holding back the pace is a much better feeling than thinking I can’t run! Just thinking that I’m a runner now makes me beam!! 😁❤️
Well done! Find a route on a pavement for next week if you can! Safer and you don’t have to keep such a close eye on what’s going on around you. It takes a while to get into a rhythm, but I think having to cross roads and keep an eye on traffic probably doesn’t help. Onwards and upwards to Wk 3!
