Although I know the time running is more important than the distance I thought I would ask which running apps people used....might be kind of interesting to see how far I actually run

Don't have an iPhone so something for an android phone required

Thanks

Hi. I have used mapmyrun and strava, both on iPhone but I think they do android versions. Some people have found mapmyrun a bit glitchy but I’ve never had a problem with it.

I started using MapMyRun. You can register for free and see what routes people nearby have posted.

Once I got my routes worked out, I use the run feature on my Fitbit Charge2. My only issue is keeping phone Bluetooth on so the tracking doesn't get lost part way round.

I use MapMyRun, I like to see the route on a map, makes me realise how far I progress week by week 😀

I found and use an app called "run-log.com" it tells you distance, duration, pace, speed and the number of calories I use. it can be used for walking, running and cycling.

I have an android and use Strava, which was recommended to me and find it to be useful, accurate and easy to use.
