I still can not believe the progress I’ve made over the last few weeks. My first run (W1R1) I thought I was going to die. Today W4R2 I RAN for a total of 16 minutes. I know the next few weeks will be hard, and I may have to repeat weeks but I’m ready for the challenge.

Just believe in the programme, take it slow and steady and you will be fine.

Happy running . 😀

I completed the same run this morning - it’s such an amazing feeling isn’t it??! I have to keep reminding myself how far I have come when I am struggling also but it’s nice to see others are feeling the same. I guess if we keep going as we are we may graduate at similar times. Good luck and bring it on!! 🏃‍♂️🍀

Hopefully we will graduate at same time. Yes I’m sitting here with a massive grin on my face. We both ran for 16 minutes. Let me say it again. We both ran for 16 minutes😀

I know! We ran for 16 minutes - twice!! 😀

Hahaha - I can really relate to what you said about W1R1... I remember thinking "why would anyone do this more than once?". Look how far you've come already, and hopefully you're getting a sense that the plan works now! Just have a look for posts from all the people who are further on, they are very often surprised that they could do it, but they did it nontheless.

Just remember - rest days are really important, and be sure to slow down at the first hint of feeling tired, it makes it so much easier to push through to the end of a run.

All the best for your running journey!

Thank you for the encouragement and pace is a problem and I must remember to go slow slow slow instead of a whippet lol 😂

I bought myself a Garmen 35 running watch and downloaded Strava. It’s fantastic to see what you’ve just done. I don’t know all the running jargon but it tells me how far I’ve run. This morning I ran 3.7 k OMFGG lol 😂
