This is my first blog post ever and I really wanted to start and be motivated to keep this momentum. I am starting the week 1 today and have been reading about all the aches and pains.
I am a 47 yrs old person and need to loose more than 15 kgs. So I feel I have a long way to be fit and hope that this does not hinder me.

Just do it. Take it one run at a time. There will be aches and pain. The body will change and over time as you get fit your aches and pain will disappear. The feeling you get when you finish the plan is amazing. Keep posting. Enjoy the journey and well done on taking the first step.
It's so nice that you could join us and it's so exciting that you're starting week 1 today. Well done! I never thought I would ever call myself a runner (I only run for buses 😂) but I'm now on week 6. I still can't believe it. My advice, take it REALLY slowly. Your body will need time to adjust. Be kind to yourself. And remember, every run is different, some will feel great and others not so much. In the end, they're ALL good runs. Just keep going and TRUST the program. Good luck out there and keep in touch.
Welcome. I’m older and need to lose about twice that weight. I graduated yesterday. You can do this - just have faith in the progression of the programme and look to here for the support you will need and be able to offer others. Enjoy running!
Well done Aparna for setting off on your journey. I set out 10 weeks ago, i was fairly unfit, needed to lose weight and sort my life out. No matter how hard you find it at first weve all been there, i struggled at first with breathing but cracked it last week. Best advice given to me was go as slow as you can, it worked for me, get some motivating music that will play while laura gives you advice. Listen to advice on this platform as there are great tips and people who have been through every expeirence relative to running. Ive lost weight as have many im sure, believe in yourself and best of luck, go for it.
