Just starting today!

I haven’t run for a very very long time - or exercised at all I fact, but have decided it’s time to make a start. I downloaded the app months ago but couldn’t pluck up the courage to make a start. So here goes.... Any complete beginners tips would be very welcome. I am overweight and have arthritic knees so it’s going to be a huge challenge.

Hello and welcome ... take each run as it comes, run slow and steady and then slower still, take the rest days .. stretch after each run and you wont go far wrong ..

Good luck and keep pisting with your progress 😊

Hi there, I just started this week. Will do W1R3 on Saturday. I am overweight and in my 50s so was not convinced that running would be for me. But I am finding it easier (and more fun) than I thought. I am going very slowly and intend to carry on that way until my body says otherwise :). Good luck and keep posting your progress!!
