Hi all , first post on here and it’s a non running question. What other exercises do people do on rest days as at the moment I am resting md think I should be doing more than that !

Hi! A mixture of walking, weights and core exercises. Building your core is very important. Google them - easy to do at home. Good luck!

Hi. When I first started I would do a Zumba dvd or Davina workout on the rest days but now I’m on the longer runs I don’t want to jeopardise my knees in anyway! I find the Ab Challenge works well for me (you can google it). Good luck

I recommend swimming- no impact but gives those tired muscles a nice stretch

Any non impact exercise is good. I do walking, cycling & Pilates ( but not all on the same day! 😉
