You will love it... start slow and stay slow... relax and just know you are ready for it..... this is the beginning of the bit where the new legs begin to realise what they are doing
You'll be fine. Go slow!!
My first 20min in the morning too. I have never done running and I am surprised how far I have come. A tad nervous about this run. Could be just mind over matter. Good luck to you for your run ๐
You definitely can do it! You will be grinning to yourself the entire day! ๐๐
Good luck Paul! Iโm running Run 3 in the morning too...have spent some time planning my playlist to keep me going..really looking forward to the challenge- which I didnโt think Iโd ever say! Will look forward to celebrating tomorrow with everyone here . ๐๐ป Enjoy ๐
You're going to be fantastic!!!
You will be on a super high when youโve done it - it feels great ๐ช๐ป
enjoy i loved this run!
I felt very emotional after first running a full 20 minutes! I felt nervous but kept it steady. You're ready for it more than you know. Good luck!!!
You can do it, good luck
How did it go?
It went fine thanks, kept a steady pace nothing too dramatic, waited to hit the wall but thankfully it never arrived
Great stuff! Not too challenging at all. My attitude was, if I can do this one, I CAN complete the course. Just in from W7R3 and it's still going well. Just loving it.
That's great to hear, I have to say I did have my doubts, but this program does seem to work. Good luck with Week 8.
Me too. Firstly, I thought it'd be a joke. A power-walker for years, 5K sounded like a dream. Did the Moon Walk (26.2 miles) and albeit that was challenging the training was pretty much a minimum of 5K. Then I tried to run 5K and discovered my folly. I now have the utmost respect for the distance and my error brought me to C25K so it was worth it. After my recovery that is...
It gets easier from here as you get to the high points where you get past the toxic 10 or 20 and it feels GOOD! Well done you! X
Thank you, it has given me the confidence to complete the nine weeks
I love the support you get on here!
