Well yesterday I did w3r1, I'd been scared to attempt it, but surprisingly found it ok until I got to the last 3 minute run. At one point I thought I couldn't keep going as I was knackered and my shins hurt, but I slowed right down until I was probably virtually crawling, did that for about 10 seconds then picked it up again......BUT I DIDN'T STOP.....Yeah !! W3R2 tomorrow.......eek hope it's ok......I am feeling really proud of myself though as I've not ran for probably 35 years.

See where you talk about shins hurting- could that be footwear? I went out and got proper running shoes after W2 R1 ... difference was unbelievable. No shin pain at all now. I had thought I would get good footwear around week 4 but couldn’t wait that long: as soon as the runs went from 60 to 90 seconds I had to get it sorted.
