Still amazing myself

Just completed week 8 run 1 and still amazed that I am managing to do this and even more amazed that I’m really enjoying it. Just still feel like I am running at a walking pace but don’t seem to be able to go any faster. Haven’t lost any weight so far doing this even though I am following slimming world. Have lost 2 stone before I started but have maintained the whole time I have been on the program! I know I’m fitter but just hope the weight loss will start up again ASAP.

Keep going Angie I keep telling myself that the weight will eventually fall off, but like you I do feel fitter 😎👯‍♂️

Thanks rusty. I am going to keep going as I now have the bug and hopefully the weight loss will come for both of us x

Well done Angie! I heard muscle weighs more than fat... so hopefully you’re changing shape and getting fitter even if the scales are stuck? Keep going!

Hi Angie, well done! I too had lost just over 2 stone when I started and have also maintained. Have you been measuring yourself? I started doing that instead and I’ve lost nearly 7 inches all over since starting the c25k. Try it you might be surprised😊👍🏻

My clothes certainly feel better on me. Glad I’m not the only one who’s maintained. I will do the measurements x

Hi Angie. Same story here- 2 stone 9lb off with SW but no loss in the last 7 weeks when I started C25K. Having said that, feeling better than I have in years and wouldn’t go back to a life without running. The numbers on the scale do bother me, I’d be fibbing if I said they don’t, but let’s keep running and hopefully the pounds will follow as well as the inches 😊

Fingers crossed the pounds will follow. Definitely not giving up the running. X

I lost 2 stone with SW before I started running! I’ll have been at my target weight a year next month. My weight has stayed the same but I’m so much more toned and have had to buy smaller clothes!! 😀

Well done!

No real weight loss from the running for me either so I’ve also focussed on my diet. But I feel leaner and the seams on some of my clothes are less challenged at the moment!
