Still amazed that I am running

I graduated in Feb and normally only manage one run a week early on a Saturday morning. There are some runs that are a struggle, but this morning's was really enjoyable. The temperature was just right for me as I struggle when it's hot. The mist was just riding over the fields and I just ran enjoying the views and fresh air. I was running on pavements around my village and didn't really plan my route just went where I fancied until I got tired, and ended up running for nearly 40 minutes. Focusing on the duration of the run hit me through C25k and I find even now I am better aiming to run for 30mins plus rather than giving myself a speed or distance target. I am not getting any quicker, but I am still running. I am still amazed that I can do this as I am in my mid 60s and only started C25k last year when I struggled to even run for more than a minute.

Perfect Knitruntalk , that sounds like it’s really worked for you...a ‘no pressure’ run is just the ticket 😊
