Thatβs week 6 complete π I ran for 25 which is something I have never ever done (34yrs old) so quite an achievement for me.
To boot I even felt pretty good running ππΌ this programme rocks!!
I took advise after last run was hard work and clumsy. Someone suggested no music just concentrate on pace (I canβt remember who it was but THANK YOU!!!!) it made all the difference it really did.
Felt much better paced (still super slow) but it enabled me to reach 25 mins with no stopping which is superππΌ MJ also said Iβm a proper runner now π Iβm so in love with him right nowππ
Also It was very hot out there so I made sure some of the run was in the shade of trees which really helped me keep my cool too.
Roll on week 7 π

Well done! It's never too late to start, but younger the better, some of us started in our 60s, I wish I'd done it when I was younger, but no good dwelling on the past.
Doing c25k slowly (slower the better) listening to the podcast and will power is all that's needed!π
Your practically there Debsey, your week is when it clicked for me, you are now a runner and it just gets better n better, your confidence is now there and you will start to enjoy the runs more. I know the runs are getting longer but I started to relax more, look more at what was around me, I created a motivating playlist and can't wait to get out on Friday for my graduation run. We've all got a new found hobby and a healthier lifestyle to boot! Keep going Debs your doing awesome, see you on the podium soon.
