Week 6 done - leg wobbles

Well a combination of heartbreak and a determination to run away from my problems got me through weeks five and six in seven days.

Today was the first 25 minute run. When I did the warm down though my legs felt really shaky. What’s that about?

It felt very odd.

The minimum time to run two weeks worth of runs is 12 days; You must take rest days, so that your body recovers. Without this you are at risk of injury. In between you can cycle your way out.

I would guess your legs are saying "give us a break woman!"

Thank you. Yes you are right. Even the dog is refusing to come out with me at the minute. Few days off due. I hear you 🙂

Are you saying you did 6 runs within 7 days. If so there is your problem you've done far too much running as rest days are so important. Take a few rest days before running again. Try and stick to the plan. Good luck 😊

Running is an excellent outlet & hope it helps you through your anguish. May it help to know we care and feel for you.🌸

However do take a rest day in between runs. A good walk or other exercise can take its place.

You are doing great! Enjoy the challenges of week 7. 🏃‍♀️
