Flying close to the sun

My w3r1 was tonight but I did some uphill walking last night and both my knees are a little painful. Wouldn’t mind if it was the muscle but it’s deep in the joints so I think I’ll rest tonight and next run is tomorrow 🤔

It's pretty normal to have knee ligaments and stuff grumble around the W2/3 mark. That's usually where people start to get really nervous and twitchy.

A bit of soreness is okay. But pain? Not okay. Your knees are absorbing a lot of pressure possibly for the first time in a long time. Hell, I'd grumble too. So soreness is okay. More than sore, rest up. Really sore, see your local sports physio at least for peace of mind...

Oh good so it’s normal then! Phew lol, I know it’s not definitely sore, feels like it’s in the bones, it’s not excruciating (yet) just don’t wanna go too far that I’m stopped dead. After all it’s not a race, thanks for advice 🙂

Wk 3 isn’t as bad as we all seem to think it is. I did w3r2 this morning and it felt great to know that I can now do 3 mins of running/stumbling/waddling without stopping. So keep going. You are doing great.

I know it’s hard first run but I know they’re all doable eventually, I cannot fail a run because of a knee problem so I’ll bide my time 👍

when I was having niggles in my ankle I put 2 days between each run, that seemed to do the trick for me
