On a high after running (slowly!!) for 20 mins. But not sure what to expect for W6. Any tips from those ahead of me in the programme would be great! 🙏🏽

Well done! For week 6, take each run at a time and don't assume that because there are walking breaks that the runs will be easy. Take them slow and steady, enjoy them, and build on your week 5 achievements. Good luck!

Thank you - slow and steady should be manageable! Sounds l8ke good advice.

Each run prepares you for the next one, throughout the plan.

W6R1 catches a few people out, so take it nice and easy.

Well done on getting W5 behind you.

Thank you! I’ll keep it VERY steady, I suppose running for 20 mins makes me feel as if I’ve cracked it! But you’ve reminded me I’m not there yet!

It does give you a great boost but some runners do get a bit tripped up by the walks in w6r1&2. Personally I like the breaks! But you’ll be fine. Really.

Well done on the massive achievement of W5!

As everyone else is telling keep it slow and steady. Today was my W6R1, slow and steady helped complete it.

One thing I’ve noticed it that stretching before and after the runs and keeping myself hydrated is helping me on all runs.

Thank you!

Running for 20 mins was something I wasn’t sure I would achieve so I’m very proud. And surprisingly I’m finding this running ‘lark’ very addictive! Bring on W6!! (I’ll put a bit more time into stretches too!)

Take it slow , because it's a surprisingly sneaky one. You are possibly still focusing having completed the much talked about week 5 run 3, and thinking after that this will be easier .

It's not. But it is doable. So it's it's own run.deep breaths on the warm up, and off you go nice and slow. 🙂🙂

It is a different set of runs... which is what each week of the plan is about... take it steady and slow and just relax and enjoy. You are ready for it... :)
