Very well done, this run is a big game changer and such a confidence booster

Having done this run the rest are just another couple of minutes, before you know it now you'll be looking down the home straight

in reply torolysmate

Hurrah! Thank you. It’s such a sense of achievement, isn’t it?

it certainly is but don't forget slow and steady will get you there

in reply torolysmate

It’s how I’ve got this far. I don’t give a hoot about being quick or finding out how fast I’m going. I am very much in the tortoise camp. 😀

Welcome to my world!! Don’t give a hoot about how far I’ve covered or how quick (slow!!😂) I’ve been!! Tortoises r us!! 🐢

in reply toPolly2810

Yeah! I don’t have a Garmin watch or a Fitbit, or use any running app or the like. All I care about is completing the programme. Speed and distance is for way down the line, and even then I expect I’ll still not care about it. 😀

No I agree...I am just happy to plod on and leave the stats to themselves that cares!! 😂 maybe one day, but I sort of doubt it! Hoping do so another cyprus one tomorrow bit will have to be another sunrise one as anything after 8.30 is way to warm for me, we were in the beach my 9 🤣🤣🤣

in reply toPolly2810

Oh blimey! Hot and I do not mix so I don’t envy your running in the warm.

Was out at 7 yesterday and it was beautiful...look on my posts for the sunrise...worth getting a bit sweaty for, then back to the pool for 8!

Well done! Completing Week 5 run 3 is the best feeling ever! And that is a real achievement too, just think of where you were at the start of the programme.

All the best!

Neil

Great news!

Your mind is now starting to believe what your body has known for ages!

That’s the hurdle out of the way, now you can just relax in your happy pace and see through the program!

in reply toGingerBohemian

Thank you! 😀

You have crossed the Rubicon........there is no going back........not that you would want to.

Just give due respect to W6R1 it is trickier than it first appears.

in reply toLynnecanrun

Will do! Have taken on people’s comments about W6R1 not being the cakewalk it may appear to be and will approach it in my usual tortoise fashion. 🙂
