Off the couch...

Finally made the move today after months of no exercise. I was disappointed that I could not run for the whole minute when 15 years ago I was running 5-10k with very little difficulty! I am more unfit than I thought I was. But I’ve made a start and i’ll keep going - maybe the gradual melting off of 4 stones of excess lard will help me! Keep going everyone!

Well done for getting going, it does get easier just stick with it. The programme is fab, very clever.☺

Well done for making that all important 1st step. It isn't easy but more than worth it.

And you're not the only one who has some lard to lose. Lol. 😂 Mine is slowly melting away since I started back running.

Good luck with all your future runs.

i started today too and was really shocked at my ability, or better said...inability!

Rather hope my lard will be melting too and make it easier, like to imagine myself as sleek and swift one day and not the pink and puffing and very slow personage i was this morning!

Good luck to you .

Us lardies have to stick together! I was a bit of a runner like you 10 years ago and started this program and a diet and gym about 4 weeks ago. Been losing about 2lbs per week. Good luck with your journey! 😀

Thanks for your interest. I’m afraid my physio has advised me to stop running after injuring my knee on w1r2. I have been on crutches for most of the week and have only just been able to bend the knee again in the last 2 days😒 So after having shelled out £100 for new running shoes, I’m hanging them up and have purchased new equipment for deep water aqua jogging instead! Ho hum. Good luck with your own training.
