5:45 run and WOW 😮 that wasn’t fun🤪 but feeling great now. My knees are really struggling. Thinking of getting some knee supports, does anyone have any experience of them and do they help?

Knees. Tricky blokes. I've had the occasional minor soreness in the ligaments for a few hours but that's just my body saying "Aww Daaaad". Anything hurtier and id be inclined to rest them. No experience of knee supports but I'd be interested in any feedback. Im trusting that the programne (plus targeted strength exercises) will get my knees in full running order...

You can reduce impact stresses by slowing down, avoiding heelstriking, keeping footfall under your body not out in front, running on grass and wearing proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.
I do have the greatest respect for those of you are are doing your runs at this time of day.
I am going to print off the advice on knee strengthening exercises as I can do with some help there.
