This was my first shot. I completed about 23 minutes of the workout. My brisk walk was 2.5mph (4km/h) and I jogged at 4mph (6km/h). It was tough going but my legs had had enough. Not too shabby for my first shot. I feel motivated and will be back to it tomorrow. Cheers!

Well Done. I remember how hard the 1st run is and you cannot believe you'll ever be able to run longer than 60 secs. But this programme is brilliant and in 9 weeks you'll be going for 30 minutes. You can do it.
Welcome and congratulations. Well done on the first run - getting out there is one of the hardest things.
If you did your run today tomorrow should be a rest day (rest days do not mean doing nothing just do any exercise that is not running). The link below is long but gives great information.
Looking forward to your posts as you progress through the programme.
Welcome and do please, check the link out...

Slow and steady and keep posting your runs.. so much great support and advice here
Try going a little bit slower on your next run and it will help you to complete the workout. And @AnnieW55 is right about the rest days. Although you’ll be really keen to get on with it, at least one rest day between each run is non-negotiable. Your body can’t build on the last workout effectively if you don’t rest in between. Well done for starting and good luck with the rest of the plan!
Well done, I'm one run ahead of you and still feeling positive!
Thank you all for being so kind and encouraging. I'm more motivated with all the kind words I look forward to continuing!
Welcome to the forum and well done, but do read the guide linked to above, which explains that you need a rest day between workouts.
Enjoy your journey.
Hi, welcome and really well done 👍.
As already mentioned, the rest days in between are very important. All part of the programme. But I do understand, sometimes I feel impatient for my next run too haha
Rest day today, but I plan on biking a bit after dinner. Looking forward to my run tomorrow
Thanks again everyone! So encouraging!
