Couldn't complete my first run, I'm sure others have been here too. Did you repeat D1 until you completed it?

Yes I repeated a couple of runs, the important thing is you are out there trying :) giving it ago and trying your best :) if you have to repeat each run until you can do them that's ok. Rest days are important too. Have a think why you found it hard. Had you drank enough water? Eaten enough? The route to steep? Keep trying and it will come together for you :)

For sure, keep repeating till you can do the runs. Nothing to be gained from beating yourself up at all. Were you perhaps going too fast?

It's no,problem - just repeat until you can do it. It's all about building up your stamina and technique - andnpractice if the only way. Well done for getting started - and stick with it! You'll be so glad you did.

The common cause of difficulty is trying to run too fast. Let's face it, C25k will not guarantee that you are selected for the next Commonwealth Games, but it will get you running for 30 minutes continuously, even if you have problems on your first run. We all start from different places, so take your time and go slower than you think you should. Repeat the run........slowly. Several times if necessary, then move on to the next session. Stick to the programme, take your rest days (or two if you need them) and build up your stamina .....slowly.

This programme really does work and will change your life. If you need support or advice, just ask here. We've all been through it......and most have survived. Congratulations on starting and good luck. Keep us posted.

Endurance will come, nothing wrong with repeating as many times as necessary. Feel pleased every time you make it out that door and give it a go.

I would just try it again - all the runs in week 1 are the same so if by the third one you have done it ok then move on to week 2.

A lot of us have had to repeat a run or a week - there is no race. Do try and keep your pace slow (mine was very slow) and do take the rest days. Some days / runs will be easier than others, but don't get hung up on a bad run - the next one is often much better!

The programme works really well - good luck!

Yes, i repeated until i felt i had comfortably completed it 3x. Took a few weeks, though each time i ran it, it was better.
