W7R3 Completed...

So very pleased to have this week over. Today's run was marginally better than 1&2 but still not a comfortable experience. I did find some enjoyment through this run but have to say week 7 hasn't been my favourite.

I am looking forward to the challenge W8 will bring as an extra 3 mins sounds so minimal but when 25 takes you to the limit I wonder how I'll go. Sunday morning I will wonder no more!

Hope everyone is having a good week. Happy slow and steady running :)

Yes agree week 7 was a big running week. I’m thinking surely another 3 mins paced well should be fine?! Hope so! My 8/1 is Saturday. Hope yours goes well. 👍🏼

Thanks Rana. It has been hard slog for me this week but it is done and dusted so lets get this W8 in the bank. All the best for Saturday, I know you'll nail it! W8 starts for me Sunday morning. :)

Well done ..you did it. I ve done wk 7 run 1 this morning and although it went ok I think I need to change my route, it kind of doesnt work so well on these longer runs.

Thank you, yes I did it but...first week I've felt I might not make it so pleased I just slogged it out and hope W8 feels better.

Well done to you too! You have hills in your runs don't you, I'm in awe of that. :)

I hope you are doing ok this week and still being gentle on yourself.

Thanks Jay. I am looking forward to two rest days before attempting W8, just had it at the mo.

All the best for R3, you got this Jay. We are inching every bit closer to completing, well done us!! :)

To be honest, the reason I’m even contemplating running tomorrow is to try to keep up with you on Sunday!!

Hey I'll make sure we cross the finish line on the same day. I'll add an extra rest day before W9R3 if need be. :)

Slow and steady, and know the longer runs are made for this... your legs find their happy pace... let them carry you :)

Thanks Oldfloss. Really looking forward to the day when I can just run effortlessly for 30 mins. Please tell me that will happen :)

It will . honestly:)

For me, 5K is just a little run.... now... I get to about 6 K and my legs take over... and I know I could run for ever...they find their pace....and it just happens... it is slow and it is still steady...but... it is wonderful:)

I am at the Coast now.. a 6K tomorrow and 11K on Sunday... I cannot wait:)

Thank you, I really needed to hear that tonight. That is all I need to keep running just to feel that. Thanks Oldfloss, you've helped so much sharing that. :)
