Only just starting out - did week 2 run 2 today and didn't complete the last run - found it really hard. Had a couple of wines last night, maybe that was why? (I've been abstaining for a couple of months)
So - do I go back to run 3 week 1 or just try again in a couple of days?

Remember to drink plenty water ,more appropriate than lemonade 🤔, to compensate for the dehydration due to alcohol and possibly a drop in mood the following day.Sugarfixes can do this.🤔
Suggest couple of wines on a run day after a run, if you have to.Not evening before.🤔
Your abstaining practise is of course good and will have rewarded you.👍
You have done that, and it will help you with both your goals weight loss and stamina.👍
It is really just one goal, wellness, new you, etc.🌟
The rowing machine in a gym is one of the top calorie burners on your rest days.I think any day really , just like walking , etc ,another cardio activity. Look at the advise on here.👍👏👏
Your doing great.👏👏That is a good achievement.Takes time and do not stress, you will get there.👍🌟
I hadn't, thanks. I'll give it a look. Sunday lunch without wine next week. I think the snow break had a bit of an impact too - or perhaps just an off day. I'll be sticking with it
Just remember that a break is not all negative, it can turbo charge you also.

It is a good habit and you are training your running brain, it is part of your body also.🤔👏👏🌟
There's nothing wrong with repeating a week, lots of us had to. There's no time limit so do whatever feels right for you and well done for getting this far, you've made a good start so give yourself a pat on the back for that.
Water will always do more for you than alcohol. I very rarely drink at all these days but I alway notice the detrimental affect on my body and mood the next day, even after just one. (Kind of why I don't bother often; I want to feel better, not worse)
You're doing great, don't let one difficult day make you feel bad. Start your next run fresh and positive 👍😁
I used to enjoy a good single malt! Balvenie was my top choice. Best poured over good quality vanilla ice cream 😉
Unfortunately I have been put off alcohol, even in a social sense by watching my mother poison herself with it. I can't look at or even consider a drink without seeing her. Puts me right off 👎
