Week 4 run 3

Ok I expected this to hurt but I didn’t expect to fall flat on my face. Grazed knees, wrists and lip. Sore wrists where I tried to protect myself. Fortunately no one was around to see my embarrassment.

Next run Monday evening. I’m not giving up although I may be hurting!

Hubby teasing me that I shouldn’t be allowed out on my own. Only adds fuel to fire. I’ll be out again Monday. Trouble is at 65 you don’t heal quite as quickly! Local fun run with grandkids next Saturday which won’t be as arduous as week 5 x

I think falling flat on your face and getting up makes you a runner! That quick check to see of anyone noticed is vital though isn't it? 😂

Hope you heal soon.

I think I was lucky. Still bruised knees. 'Grazes' healing as are my wrists which still hurt so hubby had to help me lift the heavy shopping! Getting there though
