I am a novice runner so any tips are helpful. I finished week 4 and the distance covered was 3k in 32 minutes
I don’t know if I can go any faster as I am giving it my best.

Speed will come, if that's what you want. For the time being just trust the program and go at your own pace. You're doing great.
I average around 3k for every run too and am at about the same stage as you (moving on to week 5 tomorrow). I really don't worry about speed/distance at this point because I can feel that my body is working hard at this rate and I am pushing myself. I track my runs just out of interest and with the intent of (hopefully) seeing progress over time.
Don't worry about speed distance now, focus more on the time and the intervals and feel proud of what you are achieving xx
No need to worry about how fast or how far. Your pace will increase naturally as you get more miles on your legs. I didn't speed up until after graduation. Now that I run 5k on a regular basis, my pace is slowly improving.
You are giving it your best so very well done it is still 3k and 32 minutes more exercise than those sat on the couch. Im on week 6 and I have no idea how far I’m going I haven’t tracked that yet but I’m enjoying the journey and feeling healthier
I've just finished week4 and I've consistently run 2 miles - 3 km every week, every run, I thought the distance would get further when I ran more than I walked, but no, it is what it is ...
Don't worry about speed or distance at this stage , once you complete the program then think about it
You are doing great x
Yep, same stage here, starting week 5 tomorrow (if my cold clears up!), and... it's what everyone else has said here. The programme is aiming to get you running for 30 minutes non-stop at the end of 9 weeks. You need to run as slow as you need to, in order to do that. The pace I set on the treadmill has been steadily decreasing since week 1 and I am now officially "running" at the pace that I was originally "brisk walking"! Which is fine - once I am running for 30 minutes a time, I can work on either extending that time, or upping the pace... but am only going to think about that after completing the programme.
I’ve not worried about distance at all. It is what it is. I feel fitter and I must be because the first week I thought my head would burst running for 60 seconds and today I ran for 20 minutes. I’ll worry about speed and distance st the end of week 9. I did overtake a dog walker today but she was about 80 and the dog not much younger😄
Just complete, who cares how far you go. I wouldn't be concerned about that for a while yet( if ever!!!)
