Help keep me motivated please.
I remind myself why I’m doing this and have followed a lot of people who are on the sameish week as me - reading their posts helps with my motivation. I often read them just before I head out.
I try not to read any posts from people ahead of me saying it’s hard in case I see info I don’t need to see right now! I haven’t looked at the full plan. Week at a time .....
Well done. I think we all struggle at the start. This 56 year old body didn’t know what hit it but seriously the programme works. I followed it religiously and made sure I stuck to rest days. Take each run slowly and slow down even more if you need to. Best of luck and enjoy 🏃🏼♀️
The fact that you have completed W1R2 means that after W1R1 you are determined to keep going.
If you are finding it hard going just slow it right down. My 'run' is not much faster than my walk. Think 'dying man stumbling through desert'. Slow it right down. Then slow it a bit more.
Keep coming in here and reading the great stories. And dont look any further than the next run.
You'll be great!

Great that you've started! Put in your calendar when you plan to run, then you'll feel committed. Also tell people you're doing it - you'll be less likely to give up then. Mostly though just commit to it in your head. Think how good you'll feel as you progress - it's great when you complete another week. Sometimes a session does feel hard, but it really does get easier the more you run. Remember to take it slowly. Good luck!
write a list of the reasons that you started this and stick it on the fridge. Give yourself lots of positive self talk when you have been out. It gets easier, I promise!
You will have days when you feel you’ve done really bad..and days when you feel you’ve done really good! Take your time, repeat a run if you have to but trust the programme and remember why you started. Good luck.
Well done and welcome to the forum.

Enjoy your journey.
Take it slow, very slow, I honestly didn't believe I would get to week 6 and here I am about to do the last run of that week. When I started this I didn't believe I could do it, my friends didn't believe I could do it, my family, though supportive were sceptical. So what has kept me motivated .. everyone right here on the forum, keep posting and you will get inspiration from others.
