I lay in bed this morning, trying to ignore the bright sunlight and the strains of our local May Morning celebrations drifting in through the window, and *almost* contemplated getting up and running... But I didn’t get to bed til midnight as Child 2 was out late, so the lure of the duvet was overwhelming I’ll go this evening though, as planned...
Yep! I’ve decided that I can use the same sort of shape as ju-ju’s 10k plan - so tonight will be a shorter run - probably 3k? - and Thursday will be 35 mins. Or that’s the theory...!
I am so not up to date on who’s doing what In here at the moment, didn’t feel able to be in here while I wasn’t being active. Not because I didn’t think I’d be welcome, but because sometimes it’s hard to watch everyone getting on and doing what I wish I was doing.
I Quit! - Just kidding. Did my week 11 run 1 this morning, faffed around with my ipod nano, trying to start timer and distance while running, bright sunshine and being a spectacles wearer - not good. Anyway, when I got home, downloaded Runkeeper and some mighty fine music from Spotify. Hello 21st century! Can’t do much about the specs, but at least I will be able to see my phone screen. Very chuffed though, ran for 41 minutes and ran 5.1km. My daughter and granddaughter (16) think I’m nuts, but they don’t know what they’re missing eh. Thank you c25 and fellow runners. Have a great week🤪
Just a quick hello before I put on my running shoes Since I graduated at the end of January I have continued to run 3-4 times a week, apart from 3 weeks when I had flu; I was amazed how much I missed it.
I’m running the program from the beginning again atm with my 14 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter, but sneaking in a longer solo run this morning in this lovely sunshine. Happy running to you all.
