I think you will be just fine. Sometimes an extended break gives us fresh legs! I occasionally took two or three days off between runs when I was busy during C25K, and honestly, it was fine. Always better to not run when you are feeling poorly, anyway. If you don't put in such a great performance because you are ill, that can be demoralising (I know this from experience!) Some gentle yoga when you cannot run can do you the world of good, or some core strengthening exercises. I always try to do something else when I cannot run, as it all contributes to your running when you return.
Thanks all, was worried about breaking the habit! We are about to leave to drive 2 hours home so I will make a decision when I get home but not stress if I really don’t feel up to it
Ok so I ran, but only managed 20 mins. I used Runkeeper rather than c25k as I think I knew I probably wasn’t well enough. The pain in my ears is immense!
