Against all expectations, i did it! After a mid W4 melt down, i really didn’t think i’d keep going, but all the support and advice i’ve been given made me feel almost obliged to go on. W5R2 didn’t bode well as the second half was into a really strong head wind with horizontal driving rain, but i thought, if i could tolerate that R3 should be manageable! I made an anthem based playlist for the second half (i will survive, Gloria Gaynor🤞; Eye of the tiger, Survivor 🐯; and of course, Born to Run, Bruce Springsteen 🏃♀️) ...it worked!
Now, i have a question - i sneaked a peek at next week and the first two runs seem to be easier than todays...anyone know why?

Well done! I just did mine this morning too. I think the next 2 runs are like that to pace us for the slightly longer one on run 3 and to give us a little break. That way we aren’t pushed too quickly. Just my thought. 😊🏃🏻♀️
W6R1 might surprise you... add up the length of time you'll be moving for and you'll see it's longer than W5R3. They look easier because no long run but you'll still be being pushed and your endurance stretched.
Brilliant, you are! I don’t think I could have carried on with rain and wind like you. Run 3 must have felt great after that. If you can slow down for your next run. I loooove that song I will survive. Go you.😃
Thank you I looked a very funny colour though, won’t be doing that again in a hurry, still recovered quickly, am definitely getting fitter. I hope your next run goes well. Power to you Pippa.
