Yesterday was to be run 3 of week 6, as it included a 25 min run I thought it would be good to enter a 5k run. To my surprise I managed to run the whole 5k, in less than 30 mins. It felt so good, even after finishing I felt I could have gone on. Looking back this morning, I realise that my couch to 5k journey is being done in a country park with hills and uneven tracks, the run yesterday was quite flat, although muddy in parts, generally wasn't to bad. I think the couch to 5k journey I am doing is probably helped with my stamina more than I realised.

Just completed R1 of W6 thanks for the 25 min run warning. The 20 minute run was very testing. But today it felt strong.

probably a bit faster than normal for the first 1k, but then just steady. Like I mentioned I have not done c25k on flat pavements, instead I have run trails so I think that has helped my stamina.
