They took ages to diagnose mine then when they did my gallstones were coming out of the gallbladder and creating an abcess on my liver. One also got stuck in my pancreatic duct which they had to get out. They removed my gallbladder soon after that episode! I do sympathise. Never looked back since I had it done though! x
Hi Cwtch2018 i don't know very much at all about gall bladders, but I can imagine it's painful and is causing you to suffer 😔 I hope that when you are feeling well enough you come back to us - you've come so far and the programme will still be here waiting for you 😊 Take care of yourself, looking forward to cheering you on when you return! Xxx
Hi Cwtch, sounds to me like you are simply not well - no one enjoys running when they are ill - and shouldn’t be! A pause till you are better is very wise. However, incase you forget...
Look back a couple of posts. You said just 12 days ago, (along with posting the beautiful coastline photo)...
“It was lovely...”
“ I'm off that couch...”
“I am really pleased with my self”
- all your words!😀 - so don’t let that gallbladder rob you of your success. You might have to wait a bit and get better first, but something good was going on a mere 12 days ago.
Illness happens and sometimes we have a blip in our running. I have had to take three months out because I have had viral infections followed by pneumonia, I will have to start again from the beginning, but I am looking forward to that day & meanwhile starting to do some pre-C25K walking. 😄
I’m so sorry you’re having to put your running on hold. Just make sure it is only ‘on hold’ eh? I think Elfe5 says it all in her reply, so I don’t think I have to say much more. Just get better and we’ll see you on here again soon, I’m sure of it.
This is my 3rd time attempting Couch to 5k due to illness and subsequent operations etc so once you get this blip out of the way I'm sure you will be back.
