Apologies to the Ministry of Information, but I thought this poster summed it all up really. Wherever you’re up to on the programme and for those just thinking of starting You can do it. I have a question for other graduates, today I did my second run after graduating on Sunday, it went well but I still had to take Laura with me, when did you go it alone? Feeling nervous about weaning myself off her.🤔

You can keep her with you for Strength and Flex podcasts and Couch to 5k + Stepping Stones podcasts. The SS podcasts are tricky but brilliant, and you can run them into infinity. I do! 😃.

You could sign up for our very own Ju-Ju’s 10 is The Magic Number programme to get you to 10km. Have a look at her film clips to give you an idea of the format 🙂

lol I graduated in Sept and I still dont go it alone - I am still using Run 3 of week 6/7/8/9 as I like encouragement and someone directing me - but I was getting cross with myself as I still had not managed to run a full 5K so yesterday for the first time I abandoned Jo just at the end so I could carry on an extra 5 minutes to complete the 5K :)

I may have rum for 35 min but the warm up and down walk means took 44 mins in total so not fast😢😢I’m a snail pace jogger

Sounds pretty fast to me. I would love to do a park run, but might wait a few weeks until I know I can run 5 k easily. 😃

That was my aim but tried Santa 5k felt hopeless let myself down as tried to run without any warm up walk and ended up walking x

Gawd, I couldn't wait to get rid of that awful music. In fact I abandoned it for all of week 9. I still miss Laura though 🙂

Try your own playlist, whatever you want or, very scarily, your own voices in your head 😭

Oh agreed, the music is so awful, I hate with a vengeance after today, Julie, but love Laura’s calm voice, that was why I was perservering with week 9. Even the radio would be better, but perhaps it might be time for a change and get some of my own music. Thank you 😃

If you use the app rather than the podcasts, you can avoid Julie but still have Laura... (This time round, Julie has made me smile every time, because I know it's such a Thing! But previously, yeah, I've had enough of her... ;) )

I so know that feeling! Don't ask me how many times I've used the week 9 podcast over the years... But now she's on the app, I can have some variety at last! :D
