W2R2 and I am like R2-D2

That is barrel shaped and slow - but FOCUSED!!! Came home after another 1 1/2 hour commute exactly one hour ago at 8.15pm. Having left the house at 7am it is a long day. I actually felt like moving and getting some fresh air- but had, just in case, instructed my other half to order me to go for a run, just in case I suffered some sophisticated brain trickery which convinced me to just sit down and watch TV. But I ran and I liked it. Yeah I am slow and my shins feel tense but I am doing it. Thanks running peeps for the encouragement 😃

Well done! I wrestle with the excuses in my head every day but today also did my W2R2. Impressive to do it after a long day at work and long commute! Good luck with the next step

Thank you. Every day is that long for me as I commute so it is overcoming the urge to just collapse that I need to overcome.

Same here...a 10 hour day at work, an evening choir practice and now getting on the treadmill at stupid o'clock at night! Ah well ... At least we will sleep well 🤣

Good grief.

We'll done to all of you that manage it after long days.

Yikes indeed, but I ran for 32 minutes, just arrived at work for a 12 hour shift, feeling perky at the moment, but who knows how I will be at 20:00🤩

in reply toJell6

Did you do it?

Yep, just got in now🛌

Not sure I'll be making a habit of it though, but it was only 6 degrees that early, which made the run much more comfortable.

I see wine on my horizon 🥂. Good luck with your next run.
