I know this bit in the picture is down hill but I caught the pony up despite going slow and steady. I have to add, I turned left at the end and it was a long pull up to the fell gate (honestly). I didn't enjoy the 5 minute walk in the middle of the two 8 minute sections because it felt hard restarting the second 8 minute burst; but I did what Sarah told me to. Other than the pony and rider an uneventful run, no farmers, sheep dogs or sheep to contend with just an excited me for completing it with a smile on my face.

Trotting along in Wk5R2
Faster than a pony π
Well done! Yes I found that when you got to the longer intervals, the stopping and restarting was hard as my legs started to seize up in the rest! Anyway youβre almost through the intervals now! Good work ππ½
Blimey, that looks like a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNG hill to be going back up! But what a beautiful place to be.
Yes, it is a long pull but right from the start I went up and down the hills because you couldn't live much higher up the hill than we do. So if I run down I have no option to run back up. I have found running down worse on my knees and ankles than the going up
Like here - mountains all over the shop. Itβs working out a route where the uphills are always followed by downhills!
Well done there! You over took a horse!!! Good stuff. So glad youβre enjoying yourself. Good luck for the next one. πππ
Well done!! So pleased to see you have completed the run. We are definitely on target. Good on you. Deep breaths for the final run for W5
I study you and Jays post to get all the tips lol ...when are you hoping to do final W5 run? I will look forward to hearing how you get on ..I know you will be fantastic
Well, what do your friends think now that youβre smashing out these sessions?
Well done! ππ½
Looks lovely. I laughed the other day when I had to stop for horses twice and a tractor - and I live in Greater London!!
Well done - you are certainly making progress.
Lovely.... well done you
Amazing view - well done. Oh how I dream of being able to run for 8 mins π
You are amazing, go you! πI have yet to run up a hill, will probably start sliding backwards! when I do.
lol, I have no option here but to run up and down hills but where there is an up there usually is a down, I should have got Daisy the horse to push me up
Well Done !! What an amazing place to run lucky you π
Wow, week 5, well done! These hills look horrendous - I know you were going downhill this time but presumably you have to go up sometimes π. Fab scenery.
You're doing so well - makes me feel bad as I've deliberately chosen the flattest place possible to run (will have to tackle inclines at some point, but not going there yet)! Keep up the good work!
Quite funny that you're on W5 R2 and saying you don't like the break in your run!! Excellent timing, anyone who has done W5 R3 will agree π. Happy running xx
Well done u, I have just done my first run of the week 5 so happy to have finished it, on to second run on Saturday.π
Well done and catching up with a pony (impressive) . What a lovely area you live in!
Keep it up you are doing so well!
Well done! How daunting W1R2 must have been - you must have great stamina and determination for all those hills! Running on the flat, when you have an opportunity, will be a stroll in the park after tackling those bad boys every runπ
Lovely countryside π and love your attitude! Following (hopefully) in your footsteps!
well done! i have just done the same run this morning. looks like a lovely place to be running.
