Week one Run one

I did the first run last week to get an idea of what I’m about to do. And this week is the first full week I’ll be on it properly.

Today was the first run and I don’t know what I’m doing but my shins are killing me! Does anyone have any advice for avoiding achey shins?

Slow down.

The guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.

Thank you.

Read everything then watched a few videos, I think it’s a combination of too fast too soon and not landing in my feet properly.

I've just done W2 R1. I was told you slow down by everyone. And that has definitely helped me with learning how to land on my feet in a better way.

Go slow, slow, slow. It all seems to come together when you do. Good luck.

Well. W1 R2 and I’m already out of action. I went a lot slower, I made sure I landed on my feet properly, posture etc.... too little too late already. Shins killed me so no more for me for at least 2 weeks until they’ve forgiven me 😭
