How do you know how far you’ve run? The app doesn’t show you distance does it?!! Am I being silly?! 🤪

I use Strava to track my runs, and in response to the question I think I'll be running about 4km in w7 (I'm currently on w6r2) but I'm a lot younger than most of the people here (I'm 20) and regularly exercised before C25k. Most people don't hit 5km in 30 minutes at the end of the 9 weeks, the goal is to be able to run/jog for 30 minutes so don't worry too much about how fast you're going 😊

I was probably at about 3.5k in 25 mins. Maybe slightly more. That’s not including warm ups.

I managed approx 3.5 k today but that includes the warm up and warm down so I’m happy with that 👍

Don’t think about distance. Just go on time.

I also liked knowing how far I was going each time, but don't worry about it much. Plenty of time to work on distance or pace after graduation. C25K really is just the beginning of the running journey!

However far their legs take them :)

We are all different and distance really does not matter at this stage, nor does speed:)

The programme is all about a slow and steady build up to the 30 minute runs... the legs and the strength and stamina improving with each and every run. Just run at a happy and sustainable pace that is right for you.

I’m truly absolutely loving it, never thought I would ever feel like I do about running can’t believe how far I’ve come so far, I honestly really struggled to jog the 90 seconds to begin with and to think that I now run for 25 minutes is fab
