W1R2 completed without face-planting the ground

After last weeks little adventure, I was happy to complete W1R2 today without a further trip to A&E

My husband has realised that his comments about staying at home knitting booties has fallen on deaf ears 😊 and he has now decided to do C25K with me so he ran today with me (he says that if he can't beat 'em, he'd better join them!)

Beautiful day and a lovely run ariund the local Country Park

I’m so pleased you picked yourself up after your awful experience to start again. I love a good running scenery picture and that looks beautiful

Two for the price of one! :) Hope you are getting better and very well done on getting back out there so quickly. Looks like a lovely spot for a run.

Hurray, go you! I’m glad you’re better and out and about again (and getting the other half to drop his own knitting needles and join in!)

We'll done You, both for getting out again and for getting the other half involved. Just make sure you do your runs at YOUR pace not his! Slow and steady is the mantra.

...and your park looks beautiful!

Thank you! Himself joined me at W1R2 very confident that it would be a breeze but quickly found out that he isn't as fit as he thought but he's up for another go this morning so all is good 😊

Looks like a fantastic place to run and I'm delighted to hear that you haven't swapped your running shoes for knitting needles!

Thank you - himself invested in trail shoes yesterday so it seems he's going to go for it too. Not that he will openly admit it!

I can fall over walking slowly on a flat surface, so seeing your poor face made me worry about running outside - so far I have only run on a treadmill. Today however I ran outside on our huge recreation ground and was fine and not worried because its grass - nicely flat and with lovely views over Dorset. Our country park has great trails but they are gravelly which worries me. Best wishes!

Well done for venturing out, your run sounds lovely 😊 I prefer being out to being on the treadmill. Just have to keep an eye out for obstacles and the more grippy trail shoes certainly help. Happy running x

Well done done, I can’t convince Mrs Sensible to leave her couch. She did once mutter I think I might start running with you.. But then went back to sleep

Oh thats a shame . . . Good for you that you are very motivated to keep going. Hope you haven't had any close encounters with wild boars recently!

I am getting a little bit like Hiawatha, as I plod up the hills, I try to work out if the prints are deer, wild boar, fox or the foot prints of some manic Englishman trying to get fit

The vines are just starting to bud, soon they will be full of grapes, I hope to be at least 3 to 4 kg lighter by then

Great to see you back on that horse! 🐴. I’m impressed you have got your hubby on board. I think I’ll leave trying to encourage mine until the autumn as he loves his time gardening in between the summer showers. πŸ™„. Well done to both of you. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Thank you! I was surprised when he said he would run with me but he's getting himself kitted out so hopefully will be with me for the long haul 😊
