Having faffed around thinking about doing Couch to 5k, I've finally done it! Only on week 1 with two runs under my belt but gotta start somewhere, right?
I've finally joined!: Having faffed around... - Couch to 5K
I've finally joined!
Just completed week 1, run 2 as well and actually found myself enjoying it!
Well done.
Welcome to the programme and the forum.
I was so nervous before my first outing, worrying about everything. I am doing W2R2 tomorrow evening.
There is a beginners' guide in the pinned posts section that is full of good advice:

There are a number of people a few runs ahead of you, so always people to support each other. This is a very supporting and encouraging place, so keep posting your progress.
Good luck with the programme.
You can do it! I’m a fatty on week 6 run 2 - never thought I’d get this far but the app is great!
Hey, don't knock yourself! Are you wanting to lose weight? If so running is said to help. I do hope so as I've managed to put on 3 stone of 7 I lost! It's partly why I'm doing this. Keep up the good work.
Hi I did my week 1 run 2 yesterday . Didn't think I could but did . Only thing I found was either I don't walk briskly enough to warm up on the first one & thighs hurt . But got some warm up stretching exercises off my friends at work & feeling much better today . But feeling chuffed with myself !!
Well done! There's excellent info for newbies on the link below..
Go us! W1R2 completed today for me too, I found it much easier than run 1, I ran a lot slower and on an empty stomach.
thank you I will. I haven't done anything like this before , I'll be asking you for tips 👍 Good luck with it all as well, I've been on slimming world for a year now & lost over 2 stone . Same to you , let me know how your doing .
Good for you! Go for it. You won't regret it. You've done the hardest part now (starting) so keep going, trust the program and you'll be great!
I'm new too, have done two of the week one runs so far and just treated myself to some new earphones and a smartphone belt! Struggling a bit to be honest as 4 stone overweight but determined to do this!!!
