Hi All
I’ve just completed run 2 of week 1. It’s hard work as I’ve never exercised before but am determined to get fitter and lose some weight before our holiday.
Are there any other newbies on here that can support me and I’ll support back.
Thanks

Hi there! 👋🏼 I’m in the same boat as you! Well done for getting out there and going for it! I downloaded the app 3 months ago and am only just embarking on my first run tonight 😬 I’ve been trying to muster the courage and motivation!
How did you feel after your first couple of runs?
Keep that holiday in your head, I even went so far as to dig out my favourite little black dress (which no longer fits!) as a form of motivation!
Keep going and remember it’s all for a good cause! ☀️ Best of luck!

Hi. Good to hear from you. I’m feeling pretty good after my first two runs. I’ve realised that the way the app works is that although you’re exercising for around 30 mins, you’re only running for a minute at a time, which is manageable, even for me!
Good luck and I hope you can get into that little black dress soon x
Hi,
I have exercised infrequently, but have never been a runner.
I am starting week 2 in about 15 mins...
I will watch for your progress reports. There are lots of newbies on here as well, so you should always get encouragement.
Good luck.
Thankyou! How are you feeling now that you’ve started week 2? For me it’s mind over matter as I keep thinking that I can’t do it. But so far, so good 👍🏻

Check this out.. slow and steady and I am sure you will find some fellow Newbies
I'm only on week 2. I'm 54 and unfit with sedentary job but I'm doing it. I was very stiff during week 1 but feel better in week 2. I'm running very very slowly as don't think I could do it otherwise! Good luck
Hey. Sorry I didn’t spot this post the other day. I’ve just finished week 4 and will start week 5 this weekend. Have faith in yourself and the programme - each increase in running only comes when you are ready for it. If you find things hard you are probably going too fast. Good luck with week 2!
