Hello, just completed my first day of week one and I can’t believe how out of breath I was! I do feel quite amazing after my first run and I am looking forward to the next one and to feel my fitness improving! I didn’t do to bad I guess, seeing as I haven’t ran in about 10 years 😆 if anyone has any tips, please share!

Trust the program, believe in yourself and listen to the advice that people on this forum give you! I was almost physically sick after W1R1 but now I run 5K three times a week and am starting the B210K program next week!!!!!

What Biguft said, and also - enjoy it! That feeling you had at the end of today's run just gets better and better.
Run slowly, you really can walk faster than the slow run required to start c25k. Running slowly helps you build stamina and keeps the breathing more or less under control. Also make sure you are hydrated at all times - not just before or after a run. As long as you take it steadily you will get through the programme without too much drama.
