Quite fit (flexible, yoga) but just getting into running for the first time ever (age 41). Excited but hope I can manage to make it to 5k. I'm starting the program tomorrow while on an extended business trip in Finland. Wish me luck!

Welcome!! Let us know how it goes tomorrow!!

There are great "yoga for runners" videos on youtube if you want a yoga-based post-run stretch!

Really??? I had no idea. I'll look it up. Thanks so much Amandana ☺️

Very welcome! I love yoga but never got into a regular practice until I started c25k and am loving the combination!

That's SO encouraging. My favourite YouTube teacher is Adrienne and it looks like she has special sequences just for runners.

I've got my brand new first-ever trainers ready to go (haven't owned a pair since I was in school 😂). Staff at Running Works in London were amazing and I've gone away with some really jazzy Mizunos. Hurrah! 😍

Welcome! It is exciting, C25K - you WILL make 5k, just take the runs nice and slow and believe you can do it!

Yoga is a fantastic companion to running. I do a 10min yoga sequence after every run which stretches all the right bits - pigeon pose, shoelace, downward dog, high-lunge, half-monkey, child pose - all good for after a run!

Fabulous! Thanks Sadie ☺️
