Omg 1 min and 30 seconds running nearly killed me. I could not get my breathing right and I didn’t think the time would end. I felt awful but I finished it and some how when my breathing returned to normality and I sat back and reflected on it - I felt amazed at my achievement. I actually felt good. I hope that feeling continues with each step I take .

It was hard and I could feel myself tensing up, so just shook my arms and relaxed into each running intervals. Yes we are smashing week 2 πŸ₯ŠπŸ€—

Try going slower. It’s a mistake a lot of us make. Don’t forget it’s not a race. You can’t go too slow πŸ˜‰

It's what I call the C25K Shuffle. I go slow too, trying not to kill myself! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Honestly as long as both your feet leave the ground at the same time that’s running, however slowly you’re going πŸ˜„

If you run and are unable to hold conversation, you are going too fast. Hence not being able to breathe right.

There's no such thing as too slow, try and you'll see. Once all your engines get into right gears over time, you will go faster and be more comfortable.

Besides, what exactly is the point of 'fast' if you're not a trained professional athlete? You only pick up injuries faster than the slow guys. I know that perfectly well.... ;)

I agree with the people who are saying go slower. Also you could try making your stride a bit shorter, that might help too.

Lots of people struggle with the breathing initially- if you go very slowly and gently it will sort itself out. Running at walking pace is absolutely fine and what many of us need to do in the early weeks. The best advice I had about the breathing was not to think about it, to just go slow and let it sort itself out - it did, at about W4. Good luck with the next run, we will cheer you on! πŸ˜„
